Getting paid for reading emails is a great way to make some extra cash, but you won’t get reach by reading email as some advertisers proclaim it, or make a real income for that matter. however, it is an easy and quick way to make couple hundreds dollars a month, by spending an hour or so a day working on it. the PTR (Paid To Read) industry, as it’s called, was a booming work at home industry, until couple of years ago. when scammers took notice, and started spamming people by creating scam “get paid to read emails” sites, where members would read emails and click on ads, but never got paid (10 signs of scams). i have been scammed many times by such scammers in the past 6 years that i have been experimenting with making money online, but i also had some success making money with real and legitimate paid to read email programs.

An important lesson i learned early on, was to never join a so called “PTR” program that makes you pay or upgrade in order to make more money. another tip to remember is that with paid to read emails program, there are actually many other ways to make money such as taking surveys, signing up for free offers and etc, which also makes a whole another industry called GPT (get paid to). but PTR is more focused on paid to read email offers than other GPT programs, which is why i listed these programs under PTR category.
