Only in America can someone so obviously unqualified for national leadership come so close to having her finger on the button. Sarah Palin has been a train wreck from the minute she gave her "home run" speech, read off the teleprompter and written by someone else, at the Republican National Convention. Only a blindly loyal Republican party member would still call her duly qualified to take over the presidency, which is really the only really important job a Vice President has with the rest being largely ceremonial.
