I have been anticipating the day of all romance to arrive, 14th February valentine's day. Although i am single, i hoped to get hooked up with some hot lonely girls that night. Unfortunately, nothing seems to be the way i wished them to be. My story begins here.

A few of my friends who are single had agreed to take me out with some of their female friends to CELEBRATE valentine's day by watching a mid-night movie. I thought well, not a bad idea to meet lonely young ladies on valentine's. Who knows some of them might turn out to be my cup of tea.

After got dress up with my baggy jeans and pink shirt, i looked into the mirror and told myself, "there you go Cassanova, those girls ain't gonna take their eyes off you". I walked to the bus stand talking to my imaginary girlfriend waiting for Mike to pick me up. What a lovely night with a clear sky, exposing shining stars. And guess what? I got robbed. Two young men on a squeaky motorcycle stop by my side and ask for my direction. Being a nice guy and a good citizen i tried to describe the route to their destination. One of them suddenly pointed a knife at my chest and demanded me to empty my pockets. I freaked out and did as they said. They took my mobile phone and my wallet.

Minutes later Mike reached the bus stand and found me looking lost and miserable. Obviously i told him what happen and he agreed to take me to the polis station to report the incident. We have no choice but to cancel the so-called date. Hard to admit but i really did spend my WHOLE valentine's night giving statements at a polis station. Oh my god, how freaking sad is that!

As a consolation, my friend suggested to play poker over at his house at around 1 a.m. Jeez and guess what just added to my "good" luck. I lost 250 dollars on credit to Jim. Mike drop me back home to end my "eventful" night.

Thinking of what just happened, no matter what it is even though it cost my life, i must get a girlfriend by the next valentine's.
