2007 New York National Boat Show

Winter is the perfect time to think of warmer weather and boating, and that means the annual New York National Boat Show. The Boat Show runs from December 29th, 2007 to January 6th, 2008 at the Javits Center on the West Side of Manhattan.

The 2007-2008 New York National Boat Show has exhibits on boats, gear, accessories, and more. Altogether there are more than 1,000 makes and models of boats. There will be live freshwater fishing demonstrations (in a 4,000-gallon fish tank), luxury yachts, fishing boats, giveaways, the chance to win prizes, and a whole lot more.

Members of the New York Giants will be on hand to talk with people attending the show and sign autographs for them.

The Javits Center is located at W. 34th St. and Eleventh Ave.

With winter clobbering much of the nation over the head, it's a great time to turn one's attention to thoughts of warmer days and being out on the water with the Sun shining bright...
