2009 Farmers Almanac Predicts Colder Than Average Winter For America

The 2009 Farmers Almanac predicts below average winter temperatures for most of America this winter.
The Farmers Almanac has been a trusted weather predicator for 192 years and boasts an 80-85% accuracy rate in the weather forecasts. However, the National Weather Service and the Farmers Almanac are in disagreement about the winter temps and snow fall for 2009. The National Weather Service is predicting a warmer than usual winter for much of America.
The 2009 edition of the Farmers Almanac, which goes on sale tomorrow, predicts at least two-thirds of the country will suffer colder temperatures than usual, with the Midwest and Northeast getting the brunt of its chills in January and February. Editor of the Farmers Almanac, Peter Geiger says that "This is going to be catastrophic for millions of people".
People rely on the Farmers Almanac not only for winter weather predictions, but for moon phases, fishing charts, planting charts and a host of other information, predicted a year in advance.
