The New York Yankees are the 2009 World Series champions, and of course that means a ticker-tape parade along the Canyon of Heroes down Broadway in Manhattan's Financial District.  The official Ciy Web site NYC.gov has the details below on the parade, which will take begin on Friday at 11 a.m.

Following the parade, there will be a ceremony at City Hall Plaza, during which Mayor Bloomberg will give the team the keys to the city.
