2011 Ford Power Stroke Update!

The new 6.7liter Power Stroke that Ford designed will have some new technology built in. It's engine block is compacted graphite iron (CGI) a first in a Ford diesel sold in North America. The turbo is a Honeywell with a double sided compressor wheel on a single shaft. The design gives similiar boost as having dual turbos without the clutter under the hood. The engine weighs 160 pounds less than the 6.4liter. Ford claims the engine has been tested in the lab and in real world conditions passing the 250000 mile durability test. Power ratings are estimated at 390+hp and 700lbs of torque.
