4 Simple Steps To Drawing A Demons Head
posted August 12, 2008 - 2:12pmWhen you start a drawing you obviously have to start out in a rough fashion, as to mark out what you want to draw and get down the basics of your ideas.
Above is the basic oval shape that I like to start drawing a demons head, I mark out where I want to place the eyes and other features later for on, this serves as the starting point.
Now we go on to the face development, were the features are drawn more clearer and things become more evident of what they may eventually look like, at this point I make clear what stays and what goes and what could be added, because the next stage is inking the lines.
This is where you go over the original pencil lines to add form and a greater structure to your demons head, then you take a rubber and get rid of those pencil lines for a much clearer and professional drawing.
Last of all is the shading part, I do this with the softest pencil I can, to add a realistic tone to the demons head, shading should bring your demons head character to life and create a more solid demon.
