Advertisements can be incredibly annoying and invasive, as we all know. But sometimes advertisements wow us with their creativity and cleverness--but these tend to be the ads we don't see. Or they are played during the superbowl, so not that often.

The idea of a funny advertisement is pretty basic--make people laugh and entertain them and it will make the sale of whatever product the advertiser is selling easier to sell. I don't know if this tactic is effective in selling more products, but it sure serves to make some funny ads.
