I've been thinking...

Have you ever watched someone fire a rubber band off their finger like a gun, and thought it looked like a lot of fun, so you wait until they leave and then try it yourself, but fail to achieve the desired effect?

You know those last few seconds where it could go either way, but you feel the band creeping up the wrong finger and you know it's about to fly backward and hit you right-square in the eyeball?

I like to live my life like that--it's more suspenseful knowing anything could happen. The band hasn't quite flown off yet, but I'm pretty sure when it does I'm gonna get it right in the eye.

What would happen to the world if the sound from pushing buttons on a telephone came before you pushed the buttons? Wait--that doesn't make any sense.
