6.6 Million New Jobs In The US Since 2003: Why has Michigan Lost Jobs??
posted October 11, 2006 - 10:51amThe President just stated in his news conference that 6.6 million new jobs have been created since 2003 for the US. It's a shame that Michigan hasn't seen much of that. Michigan is more than losing ground, it has collapsed beneath us.
Governor Jennifer Granholm blames it all on Washing DC
basically George Bush is picking on us. Seriously, I don't believe that Bush has singled out Michigan and decided to make it so people move away, lose all they have and end up without jobs, health insurance or a way of life.
Granholm has made many, many promises that she has failed to follow through on. Michigan is in the hole big time and all she can do is carry on because Single Business Tax has been elimiated. Hey Jenny! If people in this state had work you could replace that money with the taxes they would be paying into the state.
Where are the Michigan jobs? The rest of the country seems to be working while Michigan has the worst unemployment rate in the country. It's time we make changes in this state to encourage employers not chase them away!
