$8000 Grant for Solar Panels is Closing soon!

This should be passed on to anybody living in the Melbourne area, Australia. It is fast approaching the time when people earning less than $100,000 per annum will no longer be able to receive the $8000 government grant for their solar panels. From the calculations given, 1kW solar panel costs $1895 and saves about $500 in electricity costs per year, thereby repaying itself in under 4 years. Even without a grant, the costs and benefits of solar panels now start to make sense.
