80's Music And The 80's Memories That Follow

Ahh, the 80's. A terrific time for me and for a whole lot of others like me. The music that defines myself and my lifestyle is straight from the 80's. Rock, pop, glam metal, and the ever popular one hit wonders are everyday staples in my ears. Whenever I think back to all the wonderful memories and great times I had, those thoughts are usually triggered by an 80's music hit.Is there anyone else like me? I'm sure there is, and most likely these experiences and memories happen everyday.

The pop scene, as defined by countless artists and bands is probably the most wide spread of the 80's. Artist like Madonna, Whitney Houston, and Duran Duran are obvious choices for this catagory. Great hits from these mentioned and from countless others are still alive and recieve huge air time on radios across the world. That just goes to show the longevity of this decade of music hits.

Another side of the 80's music calvacade is the harder side of heavy metal. Top 80's performers in this group include Guns -N- Roses, Def Leppard, Tesla, and the ever popular Ozzy Osbourne. Bands thar rocked the arenas back then and still do today. Like I mentioned before, longevity is the strong suit for 80's music.

Then there are the favorite one hit wonders. There were so many of these that VH-1 had a whole top 100 countdown of them. Wall of VooDoo, Timbuk 3, Martika, and Modern English just to name a few. But thier 80's involvement was huge to say the least. I knew almost every hit on the countdown, so the diversity was wide spread.

80's music, weather it was loud and fast or just a plain, silly song is alive and well. Thanks to classic music and radio stations, they recieve ample air time. Keep tuning in and keep those 80's music hits alive!!
