8 Steps to Making Real Money Online

Everyone knows by now that the secret to making money online is "Traffic." It's as simple as that. But, not only must you have traffic, you need "targeted" traffic.

There is a way to make money online without paying one individual or business. But, there is one thing you must do for this to happen. You need to invest in the TIME it takes to accomplish your goal, an awesome way to generating passive income.

These are the 8 Steps you need to follow:

STEP #1: Get over your fear of writing. Reprogram your mind. You can do this. If you have a problem with simple grammar just get one of those "Dummy" books on grammar usage for a simple refresher course. You don't even have to purchase the book. Just take a trip to your local library.

STEP #2: Find some interesting subjects, research the topic, and write from your knowledge only. Throw in some anecdotes, and little stories. Write from 150 to 300 words, not to exceed 400 words (NOTE: More than 400 words are okay as long as it's compelling copy). Readers on the internet are looking for specific information told in a compelling way and then they like to move on. Remember: your readers do not want to read a "book."

STEP #3: Decide on a subject or product that people are searching (either to purchase or just for information). Do your keyword research at "http://google.com/keywords." After you have made some money, in about 30 days, invest in "WordTracker" (a great tool for doing keyword research). As you are doing your keyword research look for words/phrases that were searched within the last month with as little competition from advertisers as possible.

STEP #4: Choose your primary keyword phrase for your title and at least a couple of secondary keywords. In your article you should repeat your keyword phrases no more than 6 times per 100 words. So... for a 300 word article your keyword phrase should be repeated around 18 times. Your primary keywords/phrases should be in your first paragraph and try your best to repeat it in your last paragraph. This will help greatly when Google indexes your pages.

STEP #5: Now, write as many quality articles as you can, per day. My goal is 100 articles per day. However, I've been able to average about 20 per day, so far. But, today I completed 100 short articles. And, I will continue for the rest of the month. So, by the 30th of the month I will have at least 1200 articles completed. Now count an article as anything where you write at least one paragraph of material, and that material is created to generate adsense income. For example: Xombytes, Xomblurbs, Forums, Groups, Making comments on Blogs where you can provide a link or have a profile page, Yahoo Answers, Craigslist, etc. All of those count as articles.

STEP #6: Now... every time you write an article on your blog or on a site like Xomba you need to bookmark to the major bookmarking sites.

STEP #7: Make sure to track your blogs and urls at statcounter, google analytics, and you can track up to 200 urls at Google Adsense. Your stats will start showing up at Google Adsense after you've been indexed. Google indexes your site every hour, or less. Things move fast on the internet and Google keeps up with the "Trends."

STEP #8: After you get the hang of everything it should take you maybe 30 minutes to an hour to do your articles for your blogs and for Xomba.com. Make sure you do not put up the same article -- at least use synonyms -- for your blog and xomba articles. Google will penalize you for having the same article and you won't receive adsense income. It will take you maybe another 30 minutes to put your articles in your chosen sites then send to bookmarking sites, and track to your stats. Wait about 15 minutes to view your stats. Depending on the popularity of your subject you will see as many as 20 - 50 new visitors to your site per article.

The more articles you write, the more money you make. If you are able to write compelling and original content you should average around $0.16 per article per day. If you have written around 1000 articles that would average around $160.00 per day. So... start writing. And have fun!!!

I hope these 8 Steps help you to better understand one way of making money online.
