A Country In Search of Change

A Country In Search of Change

Yes, there is a lot of political chatter about change. All the candidates are talking about change. Many people want change. We want change to heal our wounds, put more money in our pockets, make the roads, streets, cities and parks safer. Many of us would really like change. I have some change. I carry it in my pocket. It happens when I spend paper money and get something in return. And, it's the only safe change I can expect from the government.
There is something else I can expect from the government: promises. Oh, how I love promises. I have a bathtub full of political promises. I used to put them in the closet, but these unkept promises got dusty and began to stink. Over the years, unkept political promises start decaying and offer an odor, more of a stench, like the ones that came from eight years of Clintonism. Now, we're getting more Clintonistic promises with which you can line your closet shelves, clean the toilet, and fill your trash cans.
You want change? What kind of change are you hoping or looking for? If you want the government to do something right (for a change), think about who you want in that chair in the Oval Office. If you put another Clinton in the White House, perhaps the change you can expect is a different color paint on the outside of the building. Elect another Clinton to the office of president and you WILL have change. If you don't think Mr. Clinton brought change to the country, look at his record. There is a long list of women he either molested, raped or seduced into sex. And this while governor of Arkansas and president of the United States. Put another Clinton in office and you'll get change, alright.
Sexual predators in the work place, ('cuz if Clinton can do it, it must be okay), the wonton waste of taxpayer money on Clinton family foolishness (check the record on how many trips the Clintons took with AF-1, compared to any other administration), scandals (history speaks for itself), and Mrs. Clinton's goon squad who mops up the mess Mr. Clinton makes. You want change? Weigh the evidence for yourself and make an informed decision about who (or what) you want in the White House as the leader of an America searching for change. You want a strong country? You want decisive leadership taking this country up (not down or sideways)? You want job security and financial stability? Then keep the Clintons out of the White House. Look at the record, the history and potential, then make an informed decision for president. Anyone but another Clinton.

Vote for somebody different, but don't give her energy

I completely agree with you that President Hillary Clinton would be a disaster for our country. I remember what her husband did to us, but I was unable to say anything about it because I was enlisted in the Navy for his first four years and I wasn't allowed to express an opinion about my commander-in-thiefchief. Because I enlisted when Reagan was president and building a 600 ship Navy, I had more than enough basis for comparison to see how Clinton gutted the military. I also remember Hillary's famous line, "We are the President." What I mean about the subject line for this comment is that--in a Universal sense--being anti-anything still gives it energy, so being anti-Hillary still gives her some of your energy. It is better--again in a Universal sense--to be pro-her opponent because her opponent is getting all of your energy. For example, our government declares War on Drugs and we get more drugs. If the government chose, instead, to tackle the underlying causes of drug addiction we wouldn't need another war. Ditto for the wars on poverty, illiteracy, terrorism, homelessness, etc. I am supporting Ron Paul and Ron Paul only because I know that McHilbama isn't worthy of the ink it takes to sign my ballot in November. Ron Paul is the only candidate who means to change things in our country and isn't jerking the voting public around. ATTITUDE IS EVERYTHING
