A Crude Awakening

Normal "adj. 1.conforming to the standard or the common type; usual; not abnormal; regular; natural. 2. serving to establish a standard." As per Webster's Unabridged, cr. 1987. "3. of a controlled mind-set that accepts the standards and common type, created and maintained of the leadership, by the leadership, and for the leadership." As per Erin Holley-Bondarek, Earth, North America, USA, 2008

"For every choice made, there is a consequence to be paid." (just in case that popped in my head because I may have read it somewhere previously, this is quoted to cover my butt, however, if it's a first, to be entered into quote-able quotes some day, you heard it here, by me...wouldn't that be quite the connect to see those words for sale on inspirational plaques in a catalog, or local Hallmark, and you'll recall just where that truly came from--looking excitedly down toward your little grandchild, "Did you know that the first time that saying was ever in print was in 2008?"--If, of course, I can call it mine, and I didn't already see such a plaque.) Possibly a plus to the point of citing the definition above...or not.
I awoke from an afternoon opportunity to snooze with my soul sounds screaming "It is NOT normal! Do not accept it as normal! Do not allow it be normal!!!", as brain desperately engaged, searching through the files for the understanding by experience, anything to do with the concept of 'normal'? All the while mumbling under it's teeny electrical pulses, "I feel another rant coming on!" You can just imagine waking up from sweet dream state to your innards on such a rampage. My body finally kicked into the menagerie, setting off the elimination sensor, stretching & bending itself, especially the fingers, to prepare for the routine steps that would surely follow.
Upon calming the screaming to a low roar, I get hit with info flashes being thrown from the archives, which changes the roar to loud ringing bells & buzzers, "Ding! Ding! Ding! Right answer!!! Ding! Ding! Ding!" Crime rates that increase; costs of living that rise above and beyond income capabilities; the human species in dire straits of ill-health; a country running it's economy on taxing, governing systems gone off the deep end with power; a medically-based structure, it's associations and agency affiliates lemmingly "Leaping for the Reaping" along with them ; poisoning necessities of life; compromising humanity, for the sake of advancing technology."Ding! Ding! Ding!"
They just kept a comin'! A gross deficit--literally; prisons filled with dangers to society that are fed, clothed, and well-schooled; innocents, starving, homeless, illiterate on streets. And those streets...Flash! Flash!...riddled with fear! Fear of life, fear of death, fear of home, fear of diversity, fear of minute particles, fear of change, fear of each other, fear of God, fear of the devil.
Then, "Pow!" the whole episode explodes onto the keyboard..."These are NOT 'normal'!--We, as a species, as Earth stewards, should not accept these as 'normal'--We, as a majority mass conscious need not allow these to continue as 'normal' standards or common type!" "Ding! Ding! Ding!"
We are more evolved than this! We are wiser than this! We can become grander of this!!! I added my two-cents to the definition, a little food for thought, and the screaming ceased...for now.
