A Flying Bird and I
A Flying Bird and I
FLYING BIRD
"Why do you fly?” I asked a bird.
"I enjoy it,” the bird replied.
"What do you enjoy?” I asked.
"I enjoy nature,” the bird said.
"What in nature?” I wanted to know.
"I enjoy the fruits, flowers, trees, rivers and everything. That attracts me,” the bird replied.
"What really attracts you?” I wanted to be specific.
"When I'm hungry food attracts me, when I'm thirsty water attracts me and when I feel alone all types of beauties attract me,” the bird replied.
"What do you think about the humans?” I wanted to know.
"You've forgotten to fly otherwise you'd have enjoyed more than us,” the bird said with a sigh.
"I do not understand. How do have we forgotten to fly like birds? I think you do not understand us,” I regretted about the understanding of the bird.
We fly with our wings. We are the physical and emotional fliers. You fly with your imagination, creativity, dreams, visions and other flights of your mind and spirit. You have been always greater than we have. Please fly with us like before,” the bird requested.
I cried and wept. When I slept, I saw myself flying with birds. I felt fresh like a fresh thought in the morning.
