A. Ho Calls Jackie Chan Racist

Even though popular martial arts/action star Jackie Chan was quite vocal in his criticism of the 1989 Tiananmen Square incident when Chinese troops killed hundreds of pro-democracy protesters, his recent comments drew some criticisms themselves.

While speaking to a gathering of business leaders in China's Hainan province, Chan stated that he felt that Chinese needed to be "controlled" and wasn't so sure if it was good to have freedom.

Albert Ho, a pro-democracy leader and lawmaker in Hong Kong, called Chan's comments racist.
