An Australian racehorse has been renamed after officials realised that it had an obscene name. Aydee Fic developed a cult following due to his name, which in Arabic means F*** You.

Punters, mostly of Lebanese background, cheered and laughed as the two-year-old won on his debut at Toowoomba.

All racehorse names in Australia have to be approved by the Racing Information Services Australia, but officials didn't pick up on the cheeky name. They have now moved swiftly to insist the horse be renamed and it will in future be known as Journey On.
