Researchers from NASA, the U.S. Geological Survey, the National Science Foundation and the British Antarctic Survey teamed together to unveil a newly completed map of Antarctica, expected to revolutionize research of the continent's icy landscape. It is a much more detailed view, with higher resolution for the entire continent of Antarctica.
You can instantly see the difference! Compare these images with part of the same area, below.

There are a few glitches -- but they will be fixed. Volume is probably really high! If you do not get logged in or the site is unavailable it is either glitches or way more volume than anticipated! Keep trying!

Begin exploring Antarctica in vast and unprecedented detail!
Landsat images DO NOT cover the south pole! (TOO Bad!) Other orbiters did get the pole coverage, but it is really, really, really all ICE, several km deep. Why else build Ice Cube in a Cubic km of Clear Ice? at the pole? So don't expect much on the image there! Everywhere else! Wow.
Everyone needs a piece of credit for this, and the British also have really contributed.
Read about it here -- and follow the NASA links!
