Ok so when it comes to anime I know a pretty penny, I am not out to prove that I do, I just know more than the average bear. Now when it comes to anime it is a wierd subject for me cause of the fact that not many people are vey interested in it because they go and sterotype it. For example,

1) Its a cartoon....I'm to old for cartoons
2) Its to wacky/wierd
3) Its all the same

Now the first 2 I can somewhat forgive even though I completely disagree with the first one, but to choos the 3rd option is wrong my friend very wrong. When it comes to anime there are many different styles and types of anime. You might think that it is out to make you laugh but anime can be very serious and at times very very dramatic. Take for example the movie entitled "Grave of the Fireflies." This is a tragic movie about a brother and younger sister trying to survive the famine and destruction of thier homes right after World War 2. The imagery is simply amazing and is no doubt one of the top movies of all time of my list, very very depressing movie but a must see.
Now again im not saying all anime is like this just that all anime is different. Anime coers all aspects including action, adventure, comedy, drama, romance, fantasy, sci fi, and yes even perverted anime aka hentai.
No i wont get into many detals as I will save them for other posts but I will say try not to bash on anime because every anime is different and just because one sucks does not necessarliy mean they all do. Take it from me Gully the "Otaku"
