Hi all, just want to say I've missed you these last couple of weeks. I've recently gone back to school (online) with a full course load, so that's where my time has been spent. Wish I could give Xomba more attention 'cuz I think it works best when you come here often. I've got one thing for you, this little quote I thought up while on one of my late-night walks: "I only complain to my favorite people, and when I'm around them I don't feel like complaining."

Always good to hear from you, Joe. What are you studying online (if you don't mind me asking)? Is it effective? I've sometimes toyed with the idea of trying to get additional training/ certification online, but never knew much about it.

I'm going for a bachelor's in accounting. I'm halfway there because I already have a bachelor's in music ed.

If you ever think about going back to school, give the online schools a shot. (I'm going to Upper Iowa University and they really seem to have their act together). Since you are already familiar with making friends online, I'm sure you'll have no problems. A lot of it involves discussion threads, not unlike what we do here on Xomba only there are more posts to keep up with.

Thanks for the reply - maybe I won't be such a stranger after all.. the school thing is brand new and I'm playing a little bit of catch-up.
