A Sign that the Public Says, "Ich Geben Aucht" to Danny Ocean ... But It's No "Ocean's Eleven"

The film is Leatherheads, basically a 'time passes by'-ode starring George Clooney.

I don't want to give too-much of a SPOILER, which is my main complaint with the movie (you don't need to hear how wonderful it is ... George Clooney's in it!): the most-thrilling thing about it is that you don't know how it's going to end.

I suppose that's a good thing, but a lot of movies have 'undercurrents of obvious endings' (the good guys win, the bad guys lose, everything works out) and soar on the wings of their awesome performers.

Not to say Clooney and Renée Zellweger gave performances that were less-than-par, it's just ... well, I could've waited for the movie to come out on cable and saved the gas-money.

Yeah, Wait for It to Come to Video ... Or Read the Book

That was another statement I could've made about the movie: "I could've rehd this!" The only reason movie-theaters are good is because they're--at the same time--HUGE and PERSONAL ... you go into the theater, NOTHING is going on but the movie! and anyone trying to start anything else is either doing it quietly or is 'escorted' out of the theater. Achtung, Herr Doktor Ross!

Yeah I got the impression the movie was fun but wouldn't lose anything if it was seen on video as opposed to the big screen. Maybe Clooney can go full circle and return to E.R. as Dr. Doug Ross.
