Aaargh! How Can I Get a Better Airfare?

Here's a question for ya....

Consider a roundtrip flight nonstop from San Francisco to Sydney a good buy for $350? Not exactly, because while the airfare search
pulls it up at $350, the taxes, fuel charges, baggage assessment, and
9/11 security fee push the final purchase price to a whopping $669.50!!< p>
