acme people search is it a scam?

I think it's not a scam but is misleading in its format. I joined on 1/2/09 and yes, okay I have $125 in my account already. ( What a ruse) However, the small print says you will only be paid when your account is $200. If you read into it, you won't make anymore money for a month or two and this is also a gamble relying on referrals staying put and continuing to participate. So you might make $30 in 65 days x how many sign ups. Let's all meet up in Monaco , I say.
To monetize your 'search engine' (i.e for Tissa to advertise on your behalf on google and yahoo, it's free) or is it??? No, it's bloody well not, you have to complete an offer from Trialpay. I did this, only because I needed some business cards (for an offline business) and I ordered from VistaPrint. (cost £13).

Okay, I was all set, all systems go.. I was affiliatized and monetized, no stopping me. I was waiting for all the money from CB and .. Heres what happened. When I had 'monetized my search engine, my stats showed that I had 100% display of my website. I had 100 visits to my search engine for 'free'. That was on Saturday, 1/2/09. Today 3/9/09, I have had 2 more visits. That leaves me with 98 visits avaiable.

It's a clever procedure to get GDI referals, however, it won't wash with me, already cancelled my subscription, but got some good business cards at a good price.
