Adam Vinatieri Misses Two Field Goals as Chargers Hand Colts Second Straight Loss

Following the Colts' first loss of the season last week against the Patriots, it seemed on Sunday that the team was cursed. Adam Vinatieri, the kicker whose last-second field goals won two Super Bowls for the Patriots, missed two routine field goals on Sunday night that could have won the game for Indianapolis.

With 1:31 left in the game, Vinatieri missed a 29-yard field goal attempt, and San Diego held on to win the game 23-21. Vinatieri also missed a 42-yard field goal try as time ran out in the second quarter.

Vinatieri wasn't the only Colt having a very bad day, as QB Peyton Manning set a franchise record by throwing six interceptions in one game.
