Adsense Money Making - Get rid of borders around your ads

A lot of people are using Adsense ads as a way to make money online, or "monetize," their website or blog. Adsense is a great program and a lot of people make good money using it.

A lot of people actually make pretty good money with Adsense writing here on Xomba. If you want to start a blog, Xomba's a good place to start. If you sign up, I'll even give you some advice on what works and what doesn't. Sign up for XombaHere.

Back to my point for writing this post. One tip I learned early on when I started writing my first blog, was to never use borders on my Adsense text link units. A border tells the reader that they can just ignore what is in the box and it's a dead giveaway that it's advertising.
The better your text ads blend in, the more people will click your ads. It's as simple as that.

So one of the best things you can do to increase your adsense earnings is to spend a lot of time getting the colors and shape and size of your ads just right. And never use a border.

And check out Michael Cheney's Adsense Instructional Videos. These helped me immensely when I first started out--well worth the money. There is a lot valuable information--mostly for people starting out with Adsense. The way I look at it is, you skip 6 months of trial and error by watching these videos.

I agree with you. Using no

I agree with you. Using no borders is crucial, as well as blending in your adsense ads with the rest of your site using the same or similar colors. But you would be surprised at how many websites have borders around their adsense ads. www.tvontheweb.blogspot.com Join Xomba Here

Ads without borders should be Monetizing 101

I don't have my own blog yet and don't plan on having one until the Spring, but I have been doing research on what highly successful AdSense marketers have done and devising strategies for monetizing my blog. One of the first things I wrote down, when it comes to AdSense ads, is hide the border and make the ads blend in with the rest of the text on the page. Well-placed and well-targeted ads make all the difference.

Will Try This...

Seems like a good tip. Will try it on my blog and see if it makes a difference. Thanx for sharing the info.

This thing I wrote

This thing I wrote about--not using borders on your adsense ads--has worked for me again. I recently switched an ad unit to no border that I had forgotten about and it made three times as much in a day than it had in days prior. Ads with no borders just blend in better.
