I rehd from the Oklahoma Gazette's Michael Robertson that TRANSFORMERS–while the big robots-n-stuff were fun to watch–was strung together by a fairly-pathetic story ('pathetic' in that it was just an excuse for displaying the big robots-n-stuff).

As you can see at the link above, I'm not too sure where Robertson's article is. But the odor of the mix of fresh and -rotten tomatoes below will either lead you to the theater or keep you far away.
