Women arrested for hitting semi driver with equipment Friday, March 30, 2007 Staff report Two Jackson women were arrested this morning for allegedly robbing a trucker after hitting him with his own safety equipment. The women, 25 and 21, approached a semi driver at the corner of First Street and W. Michigan Avenue about 5 a.m., and got into the cab of the truck, said Lt.XXXXXX of the Jackson Police Department. Inside the truck, they hit the driver with a reflective triangle intended to be set at the roadside in the event of a breakdown, LT. XXXXXX said. Police located and arrested the women by 7 a.m. They were taken to jail, where they awaited arraignment this morning. I wonder whats next.
