Alcohol and Domestic Violence:The Connection

This is a correlation between alcohol cosumption and domestic violence as documented in trial transcripts back in the 1800's. This research paper I wrote offers actual trial testimony from back then, and an interview with a victim of domestic violence who believes his father's violent episodes were directly related to his drinking.

The controversy over the connection between alcohol consumption and domestic violence has existed for years and extends back as far as the 1800's. I wrote this research paper in my master's program for my substance abuse counseling class. It was fascinating to reserach and learn through the trial transcripts that there was a direct correlation. Thankfully no one had ever done a paper for that class on the history of this subject, so it made it that more interesting for my professor.

Check out my paper, I think you will find it as fascinating to read, as I did to reserach and write it. Please know this is not written in very technical terms. I wrote it in such a way so that all could read, understand, and enjoy it! I always go by the saying KISS, Always trying to keep it simple!
