Algeria bombings: Al Qaeda did it again
posted December 13, 2007 - 9:06pmWell, at first I apologize for the extended delay of my new delivery. Due to personal reasons I haven’t been in my mood for writing at Xomba. But now I’m back. And I’m going to deliver more than a single writing per day, and I’ll write about many different topics daily.
During this week, there were 2 bombings at Algiers, with more than 60 people killed and other 100 injured by them. One of them hit two UN buildings, and the other one, a government building. A maghrebi Al Qaeda branch finally claimed their responsibilities for the attacks.
My two cents about this: although I’m not a supporter of the American government policies against terrorism, I definitely hate those actions. Those Al Qaeda thugs claim to represent Muslim people, but the only thing they do is to create a negative impression about Islam, as well as Inquisition used to do with Catholicism many centuries ago.
What’s going to happen in the world if we keep on acting like this? I don’t want to know it. I just want to avoid this. If possible.
