Alien Anthropology!

After completing endless research regarding the human race, with emphasis on American people, thirteen to nineteen years of age, also known as teenagers, we have compiled the following information.

The three most important things in the American teenage culture are sexual relationships, appearance and human beings of the female gender. (See poster.) As documented by the images we have gathered, it is evident that American teenagers have interest and enjoy looking good, looking at other people that look good, wearing little or no clothes, and displaying affection. It is also found that some American teenagers also enjoy being in a body of water, unclothed, with other people. Fears within American teenagers include looking bad and being unable to have relationships, as both are equally significant in their culture. Another fear is embarrassment, as noted by the image referring to skinny-dipping. One thing we found surprising was that many female humans are quite attractive.

After perusing myriad magazines, we have found and interpreted several quotations. They are as follows:

“Endless Summer” (Teen People, June/July 2005, p. 156). The preceding quote describes how expressing affection between a male and a female seems timeless and entertaining.

“A pastel polo and delicate printed skirt are a match made in heaven” (Teen Vogue, February 2005, p. 84). The preceding quote describes how a matching outfit can create a perfectly matched couple.

“Looks like Britney Spears is itching to tell the paparazzi where to shove it” (Source unknown. See poster.) The preceding quote describes the image showing a culturally inappropriate action and relates to the human reproductive system, as humor, signifying the cultural importance of sex and relationships.
