All Creation Reveals the Glory of God by James Wood - Biblical - Spiritual - Philosophical - Meditations

All creation reveals the glory of God, the expanse of space and the unmovable of mountains, the flow of rivers from on high, the unsearchable depths of the deep, the unpredictable ness of the mood of the oceans, the covering of the polar ice caps, the lonely places of the desert the little joys of the flowers popping up everywhere, the vulnerability of a butterflies wing, the giving of an apple tree, the hope of a sunrise, the scorching light of the noonday sun where nothing is hidden from its light, the glory of the accomplishment of the sunset, the life sustaining light of the sun, the giving light of the moon to those in the darkness, the purity of the snow, the authority of a king, the finality of the judgment of a sword, the peace of a meadow, the inheritance of a house, the loving nature of a mother, the training and provision of a father, the teaching of a teacher, the life sustaining sustenance of food, the unhurried growth of a redwood, the soothing palm of a salve that is put on wounds, the purifying nature of fire, the calm of a peaceful lake.

All these things God created out of His nature, for nature represents His nature. He gave us pictures to look at of Himself. No wonder man mistakes nature for gods, for they represent the true God. And the demons that want to be gods steal the pictures of God and use them for their own glory. But we were created in the image of God. Selah
