Almost 2 yrs. on Xomba: Total Adsense Revenue $52.39 - What am I doing wrong?

Xomba, for me, as, far, as Adsense goes has been an absolute flop. I'm actually a loser when it comes to Adsense. You, know, I keep my Adsense page opened every day. I really am tired of seeing, day after day, of $0.00.

I put a lot of work into my articles and they produce nothing. My latest one on Somalia has produced, not one-cent. I'm always lost when trying to find anything on Adsense. My understanding of Adsense is how to generate reports and add URL channels.

Google doesn't explain anything clear enough for me to understand. I don't have the money to by a Google course.

I decided to write this because everyone I know here on Xomba is doing a hell of a lot better than me.

I've hung in because of the interactions I've had with many of you, and, because I love to write. Since being laid off last November, hey, Adsense sure could help.

I've tried to not think about this, but as others' figures are posted, occasionally, I can't help but wonder what I'm not doing or doing wrong?

I look at the Google keyword-thing, but, don't quite understand what its generating.

So, maybe, someone has some suggestions?

Hang in there

I'm new to xomba and in a sense feel your frustration. I've also written an article that is not doing well and it is dismotivating since I am proud of the article. I've started reading on search engine optimization and keywords and was able to download a beginners ebook on it for free on CNET. You might want to try that route. Since you love to write you might want to try writing jobs at places like www.odesk.com or www.elance.com , it may not be about the topics you are interested in since the buyers dictate what you will write about but at least you are earning while you experiment on what will work here in xomba. I make around $800 a month working around 2-3 hours a day monday to friday. Good luck!

I am trying to figure out how to merge...

Adsense with the Xomba account. Any information would be appreciated. I'm only one day strong on Xomba and am quite confused.

Suggestions

I'm not sure what might be going on but you might try to use keywords, or descriptive words in the body of your articles that are similar to what searchers might use when looking for whatever you are writing. about. Try to write articles about things you know about, but that people are also searching about. Stick with what you know is my motto. Good luck and keep trying.

Seek Ye First the 'Paradise-Code', & All Will Be Added Unto You

Abmox's Paradise-Code is something like 'Write about something your ideal friends would read, -discuss & -pass to others, and then "do as you expect them to continue doing" (read, discuss, and pass your writing to others).'

For example, Jesus Christ's request to His friends wasn't 'Hang out around my execution-device and smile at people who walk by,' it was (in so-many words) "Pass my Gospel to all!"

(And no, that's not "That Jesus died," but rather it's in the way He lived ... look it up!)

Don't pay so much attention to money; trust Abmox to take care of that, and go on helping us understand 'Joseph E. Howard'-stuff.
