The Amazing Body Art of Guido Daniele
posted May 4, 2009 - 7:12amThe 58-year-old Italian artist who studied in both Italy and India creates amazing works using the hands and arms of models. His “handimals” show the outstanding ability of this artist.
The Artist
"He was born in Soverato. In 1972, he graduated from Brera School of Arts, majoring in sculpture and
then attended the Tankas school in Dharamsalawent, India until 1974." -Wikipedia
Now working mainly out of Milan, his work is described as hyper realistic.
An accomplished artist with both brush and air brush, Daniele works can be seen in exhibition and advertising. Whether it is for a large stage set, a fashion experience or a canvas his skill shines through.
In the mid 1980s he started working and honing his skills with airbrushing.
Around 1990 he began to develop his body painting techniques.
His creativity and ability to envision the finished piece are seen most clearly in his“body art”. An open hand becomes a zebra; an upraised arm takes on the appearance of a giraffe or a clenched hand becomes an elephant.
All is possible under the skilled hands of Guido Daniele.
