Last night on FOX Network's American Idol, David Cook was taken to the hospital after having heart palpitations during the day.

Nobody official has commented on the story as of now.

The medics at the show had said that the blood pressure of Cook was very high and wanted him to be sent to the hospital for evaluation.

David was given medication to lower his blood pressure, he was then released and brought back to the American Idol apartments.
Reports indicate that he is currently doing fine.

Which is good of course, because Cook is one of the better contestants in this competition. He is most likely experiencing a high load of stress due to the many things going on at once.

Even though Cook was hospitalized yesterday, he still performed his Dolly Parton bit before the incident. He sang "Little Sparrow", Simon didn't take a huge liking towards it.
