I guess the new theme for American Idol--the upcoming episode on Tuesday--is going to be songs by Tony Bennett. I wonder who will be the worst performer on that day. Could it possibly be Sanjaya? Most likely. But it seems that the American public is following such websites as Votefortheworst com (a site that Howard Stern promoted on his radio show) and actually voting for the worst.

Is this some kind of social experiment to see how long we can keep the worst performers on American Idol? I think this may be what is happening. I mean, let's get real--Sanjaya?

American Idol is still a show that I have not been able to get into, but still I hear countless stories in the news about American Idol hopefuls and the drama surrounding their lives.

I have to be honest--I wonder when we will get sick of American Idol and it will no longer be on the TV. We are in, what, season 6 of Idol? I think it is time this show bowed and did its last curtain call.
