Well another week of American Idol has passed. Dolly Parton week....good riddance! While I like Dolly Parton and the music I know of hers, this week was a difficult one to watch and probably even more difficult for the contestants. Not a big country music fan, I knew only a couple of these songs. I find it hard to judge people singing songs I've never heard. "Jolene"? "Smoky Mountain Memories"? Whatever....

Anyway, the results show featured another Brady Bunch Variety Hour start. Why don't they do away with these hokey routines? I like to watch them just for a good laugh!

The bottom 3 this week were Ramiele Malubay, Brooke White, and Kristy Lee Cook. To make it more interesting, they should've booted all three. Ramiele got the cut but Kristy and Brooke are not far behind. Kristy actually should've been gone weeks ago. Maybe votefortheworst.com is choosing her? And Brooke....does anyone else think she looks 40 and is annoying with her "I agree I sometimes stink" schtick? That's getting way old.

As for the other remaining contestants, Jason Castro looks like the guy on the cover of Mad Magazine with dreds. David Cook looks like Jane Fonda in "Klute". Carly Smithson looks like a masculine Boy George. That leaves three contestants I can actually stand: David Archuleta, Michael Johns, and Syesha Mercado. Let's hope America votes them into the top 3!
