Last night on American Idol viewers tuned in to not only see who was voted off but also to help American Idol give back. Each Idol judge visited an area that needed help. Many of these places were right in our own backyard. The aids epidemic in Africa, malaria outbreaks and starvation were all touched on by American Idol also. It was a touching, yet heartbreaking, display of what really goes on in the world. Idol was brilliant in this idea to raise money for charity. Over 30 million was raised to aid many different foundations throughout the world. At the end of the night none of the remaining 6 idol contestants were sent home.
