Amrita Arora, born 31st January, 1978 to a Malayalee Mother Joyce Polycarp and a Punjabi Father Anil Arora was raised in Mumbai as a kid sister to Malaika Arora following her steps choosing MTV VJ for a Career.

Amrita made her debut alongside Fardeen Khan with the film Kitne Door Kitne Paas which was not succeed at the box office. Amrita's first hit was Vikram Bhatt's Awara Paagal Deewana and then followed a series of flops, among them the controversial Girlfriend (2004) opposite Isha Koppikar, a movie about lesbian relationship that got her career to stardom with its bold sensuous content.

Amrita, sister of the evergreen Diva Malaika Arora somehow managed to achieve stardom with her bold exposure of her assets and is undoubtedly another Diva in the same family.
