An Anger Management Instructor Gets Arrested

It is reported that an anger management instruct by the name of Robert Nichols was charged with domestic battery after his wife accused him of grabbing and beating on her during an argument. Nichols had taught anger management classes for defendants in Gary City Court for several years. His contract was voided while the misdemeanor charge against him is pending. Anyone working in the court system can't have criminal charges.

Nichols was arrested after his daughter called the police and reported the fight. A special judge was appointed to arraign Nichols.

I agree with you

I agree with you, jdubhub. It's just scary, sometimes, that the people that need the help are the ones giving it. It does help if they're humble enough to know that. It's interesting how a lot of people get more than a salary from their professions. When I was teaching, I learned a lot more than I taught. It's interesting how teaching helps you know something on a much deeper level.

You'd Be Amazed...

Actually, you'd be amazed at the number of people who pursue degrees in Psychology and get jobs in the same field in the hope that they can correct problems in their own lives. For some, it's like the person with arsonist-like tendencies who becomes a fireman trying to overcome it.

Blind Leading the Blind

This is one of those very scary situations, in which the blind is leading the blind. It's like the family counselor who needs family counseling all of the time. (I'm not saying that a family counselor should never seek help from another family counselor. Sometimes, we all need to see what's so obvious to others - - everyone but ourselves).
