An Open Letter to My Fellow Xombies

An Open Letter to My Fellow Xombies

I have been a member of Xomba for about 15 or 16 months now. During that time, I've seen Xomba grow from Nick's baby into something that is fast approaching a household name. I've seen people come and people go, but there are many people who are still active today that were here before me.

Even during that time, my personal growth has gone from recognizing some things about myself that I wanted to change (and am still changing in some aspects) to pushing to make the world a better place, not just for my sake or my family's sake, but for all those other people in the world's sakes.

See, my personality and character do not permit me to condone or allow injustice. I want fair play for everyone and have the expectation that others will follow suit. Those who have followed my writing for much of the past year will see it.

The challenge for me, something that I admittedly did not do well, is not allowing that dealing with the darker corners of my soul in debating the injustices of the world to color who I am or my writing. I am a being of Light and I operate best when I am working for the Greater Good, on my ordained path.

Therefore, I want to apologize for the articles that I have written in the political and religious arena over the past couple of months. Not only did I veer from my true path in using positive energy to effect positive change to garner peace in the world, but I lowered my energy's vibration level in order to debate what I know in my heart I could not change.

If I was writing my words in a vacuum or in my personal journal to get them out of my head, then the potential damage would have ended there. With my putting them on the Internet, they will be out in the ether for potentially ever.

I am owning my mistakes and I am formally apologizing for judging others with my writing, specifically Publius, lmorovan, eggsoveresy, and Free SEO Services. Judging others does more harm to ourselves and the world than most anything else we can do, so I am taking back that energy that I put out and I will not participate in those discussions again.

As you all will see in my writing is a return to the things I can change and ways that we together can effect positive changes in the world. There is still tremendous potential left in this world before we cross that threshold of "beyond the point of no return" and I am grateful for Nick and Xomba and the ability to share that journey with everyone.

Thanks for reading this short missive.

Good for you...

The hardest time we have is when we are hauling a bag of regrets along with us...and forget to let go. Good job.

Thanks, mamamia, it's good to be back to my new old self

There have been times when I've reread an article that I've written, something that can be considered a great piece of writing, and be amazed that those words just flowed as if from a higher Plane. Much of what I wrote in the past month or two makes me cringe when I realize the amount of anger and negative energy it took to write it all. I am not that kind of person and I was doing no favors to anyone here or in the ether doing what I was doing. But, that is in the past. I can't change it. But, I can learn from it. Xomba and you all are like family to me. We may not always get along, as is the case with most families, but we can respect each other and be there for each other. My comments that are left for you and other people are my way of recognizing that you all are family and that we are in this together. DO YOU HAVE THE WRITE STUFF?

welcome back

you always had a positive comment for others articles too, what ever the topic, when i joined Xomba...i think you might have stopped that when the "ripping each other apart" started! Never mind...life has these bumps, and I guess you needed a forum to spew out all the passion you felt on the issues. So enjoy at Xomba...and dont eschew the controversies entirely since backed with facts they made interesting reading! Why, thank you, rawnak!

I have to admit that my energy is much, much lighter after writing this article and reading the resulting comments. For me and I'm sure others, too, it seemed like there was a dark cloud hanging over Xomba for the past month or so with all the talk of war and angry political exchanges. I understood my culpability in the whole thing, which is why I wrote what I did here, and I am putting all my energy into something good coming of it. I have read some other articles here and I felt just the slightest itch to fire off a response, but thankfully, I took that moment of pause and reconsidered. I am going to keep my focus on positive outcomes and productive energy, which means more articles that are helpful. As you said, rawnak, you stopped reading my stuff when I started getting into the political stuff and you are probably not the only one. If we are truly here to learn how to write the best articles and make some money doing it, then that should be our focus, not on ripping each other apart and hosing off the Xomba server with testosterone. @ All Xombies

Love is in the air on Xomba. See, Jdubhub, what a difference you made. All those people who were talking about war are now talking of "Group Hugs". Power of writing and thoughts, and positive energy. Great. I love Xomba community. See, we can all live in perfect harmony and peace. I loved this group hug. We should do it again if things become heated up all over again! We could set an example to the world of a community that is so diverse from different countries and religions with a group hug! As Mythman says...YAYYY! I am feeling very good today. And I am SO proud to be a part of this community.

Group hug

sounds better than tree hugging. I tried to hug a tree in NYC and ended up covered in Asian long-horned beetles.
