An Open Letter to My Fellow Xombies

An Open Letter to My Fellow Xombies

I have been a member of Xomba for about 15 or 16 months now. During that time, I've seen Xomba grow from Nick's baby into something that is fast approaching a household name. I've seen people come and people go, but there are many people who are still active today that were here before me.

Even during that time, my personal growth has gone from recognizing some things about myself that I wanted to change (and am still changing in some aspects) to pushing to make the world a better place, not just for my sake or my family's sake, but for all those other people in the world's sakes.

See, my personality and character do not permit me to condone or allow injustice. I want fair play for everyone and have the expectation that others will follow suit. Those who have followed my writing for much of the past year will see it.

The challenge for me, something that I admittedly did not do well, is not allowing that dealing with the darker corners of my soul in debating the injustices of the world to color who I am or my writing. I am a being of Light and I operate best when I am working for the Greater Good, on my ordained path.

Therefore, I want to apologize for the articles that I have written in the political and religious arena over the past couple of months. Not only did I veer from my true path in using positive energy to effect positive change to garner peace in the world, but I lowered my energy's vibration level in order to debate what I know in my heart I could not change.

If I was writing my words in a vacuum or in my personal journal to get them out of my head, then the potential damage would have ended there. With my putting them on the Internet, they will be out in the ether for potentially ever.

I am owning my mistakes and I am formally apologizing for judging others with my writing, specifically Publius, lmorovan, eggsoveresy, and Free SEO Services. Judging others does more harm to ourselves and the world than most anything else we can do, so I am taking back that energy that I put out and I will not participate in those discussions again.

As you all will see in my writing is a return to the things I can change and ways that we together can effect positive changes in the world. There is still tremendous potential left in this world before we cross that threshold of "beyond the point of no return" and I am grateful for Nick and Xomba and the ability to share that journey with everyone.

Thanks for reading this short missive.

You have always been very helpful. I remember when I was new and did not know what flagging meant. You were patient with my ignorance and explained it to me in a nice way. Keep up your good work.

In the midst of all the heated debates, I learned many things from all the great writers at Xomba. This article is much appreciated and I knew I liked you from day one..... Thanks for humbling yourself in writing it...........You are a great example to the rest of us...

great point whatup. Yoda was

great point whatup. Yoda was an influential politician. I am sure jdub will write political articles with positive messages. At least I hope so. I will stay professional when replying. So we can all enjoy the points being made. A morning on the boardwalk in San Diego Eggsovresy

Thank you everyone for your kind words...

I am humbly grateful for your your kind words. While writing this wasn't the easiest thing I've ever written, it was maybe the most important thing I've ever written. There was too big a disconnect between who I am in real life and who I was becoming while writing what I did. Thankfully, I had enough help on this and the Other Side to pull me back onto my Path. Will I make mistakes again? Probably, because I am human, but I won't make this mistake again. I am learning from it and I hope I can somehow serve as a reminder to others not to follow me down the path I was just on. DO YOU HAVE THE WRITE STUFF?

Honest and Heartfelt. I am impressed with this article.

Don't be so hard on yourself Jdub. We are only trying to save the world. A+ for the heartfelt article. Under all that burly exterior you are a nice man Jdub. Simple as that. A morning on the boardwalk in San Diego Eggsovresy

Listen jack*** and let me tell you what I think of you! - jk :) Just like Publius (ewww - that hurt didn't it - c'mon admit it) your 'bytes are usually well thought out, well written and you have some back-up. I may not agree with everything you say but you usually say it very well. And that is usually the point of writing is expressing opinions and philsophies. Sometimes even to educate. You do a great job of this. I look forward to the Yoda/dubs.

Very Good one !!!

We never stop learning. Xomba(internet)is a great medium and place to learn from others and more about ourselves. I love meeting new people and this has been great for me since I am in Holland and I don't know Dutch all the way yet. I get "english speaking" people here that I CAN relate to .... *lol* I think it took lots of courage for you to write this post jdubhub!!! Keep pushing on! Your doing great! Thank you for that message

This is a great online community and you have been one of the main contributors with your thoughtful and sometimes brutal analysis on different subject matter. All of us can learn a thing or two on tolerating others' opinions, agreeing to disagree, and refraining from name-calling (no reflection on you). Some people are able to communicate more effectively than others. But, everyone has his or her own strength and story to tell. This is one of the best sites on the internet for Adsense revenue sharing. I'm very happy Nick monitors his site and keeps it from falling into something that intimidates new writers.
