During her weekly podcast she attacked the plan, and said that there should rather be more cooperation among countries to protect copyrights globally. She also said that the Internet posed considerable dangers for copyright protection.

Copyrights are truly meant to protect the non-creators from being expected to create more in the future. 'Protecting the owners of past works' isn't necessary if the owners own the work right!
