Ann Dunwoody Nominated to Be First U.S. Four-Star General
Lt. Gen. Ann E. Dunwoody has been nominated to become the nation's first female four-star general. If her nomination is approved by the Senate, she would be the head of the Army's supply arm.
Ann Dunwoody, a native of New York, has served in the Army for 33 years. She received her commission as a second lieutenant in 1975 after graduating from the State University of New York in Cortland.
