An overdose of at least nine prescription drugs cost the life of the former playmate of the playboy Magazine , Anna Nicole Smith ,as per the detailed autopsy reports released on Monday the 26 of March 2007.The celebrity beauty queen , had a similar fate like her idol Marilyn Monroe , , by the overdose of the infamous sedative chloral hydrate. Marilyn ‘s tragic end in 1962 was also caused by the overdose of the same sedative .
The report suggests that Anna Nicole Smith would not have been aware about the fatal nature of the drug in combination with the other prescription drugs. A combination of other factors like infection on her buttocks caused by multiple injections of other drugs, Stomach Flu and a high degree of fever also contributed for this sexy star's untimely death. The sedative drug that she used to take overdose, often direct from the bottle, caused her tragic end as per the latest findings and no foul play is suspected in her death.

However many questions remain unanswered in the tragic end of Anna Nicole Smith , since it is believed that Smith’s life could have been saved, had she been taken to hospital , thereby avoiding over dose of chloral hydrate .

Meanwhile the paternity of her surviving child has been confirmed as Larry Birkhead her copmpanion and photographer.It may be recollected that her son had a tragic death shortly before her end. The details of the large inheritance for her child is still not available.
