Another "Borat" cast member files lawsuit
posted December 4, 2007 - 5:41pmThe creators of the movie "Borat" were sued again on Tuesday, this time by driving instructor Michael Psenicska who was seen in the comedy admonishing Borat for yelling insults at other drivers.
Psenicska said he was paid $500 in cash to give Borat a driving lesson. He described the experience as "surreal," saying Cohen drove erratically , drank booze and yelled to a female pedestrian he would pay her $10 for "sexy time."
The driving instructor is seeking $400,000 in damages and additional punitive damages for being mislead and for emotional harm. Psenicska claims if he had known the true nature of the film, he never would have agreed to appear.
"Borat" made $270 million at the box office plus more than $60 million in DVD sales. I say these people who were paid a measly $500 should get a little something anyway. They helped make the movie a success even if they didn't realize they were part of the film.
