I want to write. I want to paint and dance and sing my heart out. I could never imagine being an astronaut, or brain surgeon, or physicist. That said, I'm not going to be making much money. At least not yet. There is a reason the term 'starving' has been tacked on to the job description of an artist. Part of Xomba is writing about things that interest people, that's how we make our buck. For myself however, I have to write about things that interest me. I think a lot, and have lots to say, but very little of it concerns sports teams, the newest way to please your boyfriend (girls~ there are new ways.. it's all been thought of), or anything regarding stocks, loans, bonds, insurance, etc. There are authors for every topic so I don't have to force myself to be anything but who I am. My work will excel when I am interested in it, and it's going to be much easier to captivate an audience if I love the topic myself.
