Appendecitis - Video
posted June 5, 2009 - 2:31pmThis video is very informative about your appendix and what an appendecitis is. It shows a very detailed video of where the appendix is located and how it is attached to your large intestine. The appendix is attached to the large intestine, but does not have any function to elimate waste. When the appendix gets infected it begins to swell. The swelling and infection can cause extreme pain. Fever, vomit, diarrhea and other syptoms may occur. If you feel you might be having an appendecitis, you need to have a check up and have the appendix removed before it reptures, or a serious infection is possible. The procedure to remove your appendix is called Appendectomy. Most cases of Appendecitis occur between 13 and 20.
