Apple vs. U.S. Chamber of Commerce

The fight over global warming heated up this week when Apple resigned from the United States Chamber of Commerce.  The resignation came in protest to recent comments by the chamber, which has been a harsh critic of the Obama administration's climate policy.  Efforts by the Environmental Protection Agency to regulate greenhouse gases are supported by Apple and opposed by the chamber.  In recent weeks three major electric utilities resigned from the chamber for similar reasons.  Apple's resignation was effective immediately.
